Mrs. Hansen, KindergartenWelcome to Mrs. Hansen’s Kindergarten! My name is Kelly Hansen and this is my first year teaching at Cornerstone Christian Academy and I am blessed by the opportunity that God has given me to teach your precious little ones!
I recently graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BAE in Reading and a minor in Special Education. I have previous experience working with
Multi-Age Kindergartners and enjoy using different types of hands-on teaching activities which focus on children’s different learning styles. I enjoy using many songs and music during my teaching and transition times. I believe that Kindergarten is a wonderful foundation for learning where children are given the opportunity to learn about God’s love for them where they learn to seek His kingdom first.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking my dog Harley for a walk, scrapbooking, camping and reading children’s books. I am married to a wonderful spouse and have three wonderful children. I have been a Christian for 36 years and worship at Latah Valley Presbyterian.

1 pad penmanship paper
1 box washable markers
1 pkg construction paper
3 glue sticks and 1 bottle of glue
1 pair safety scissors
2 big erasers and 1 pkg pencil top erasers
1 paint shirt
2 boxes, facial tissue (to share w/ class)
2 boxes of baby wipes & 2 refills
1 plastic pocket folder
1 bottle hand sanitizer
small toys and stickers for the class store
1 pencil box
If your child will be napping, please bring in 1 fitted crib sheet, a blanket and small pillow. Please mark all items with your child's name.
This is our initial supply list. Throughout the year you may be asked to bring in items for special projects. During the first week of school each child will be asked to sign up for a month to bring water bottles. Thank you for your support and we look forward to meeting you all and having a wonderful year.
